Dr Equizi’s education and ongoing training is both comprehensive and reassuring for anyone considering cosmetic facial enhancement. He qualified in 1988 from the University of Liverpool Medical School and trained vocationally as a GP from 1989 to 1992. In the year 2000, he started performing aesthetic procedures, honing his skills to become a medical director. He was awarded the diploma in non-surgical facial aesthetics in 2013 from UCLAN (University of Central Lancashire) with distinction. He subsequently went on to be a clinical tutor on the course.
A highly-ambitious clinical expert, Dr Equizi opened his own practice in 2007, which became one of the most recognised, trusted and well-respected aesthetic practices in the UK. He decided to relocate in 2018, forming his current clinic, Enhance Clinispa, with long time friend and colleague Nichola Hulbert, who excels as an aesthetician bridging the gap between beauty therapy and aesthetics.
As a medical aesthetic practitioner, Dr Equizi understands that to meet the needs of his patients, constant and continued education and training on advanced and innovative treatments and techniques is of utmost importance. Therefore, he continues to attend various aesthetic masterclasses as well as advanced courses both in the UK, Europe and America.
Dr Equizi has become one of the most highly-respected and well-known practitioners in the aesthetic industry which has earned him many opportunities to perform demonstrations for global brands such as Bioform Medical (now Merz) and Sinclair Pharma. Dr Equizi often finds himself on a global stage speaking at events such as the annual World Experts meeting in Barcelona. He has also presented and performed live demonstrations at conferences such as Professional Beauty and MIDEC in Kuala Lumpur.
He is also an author of various articles for industry journals, offering his expertise, advice and opinions for fellow professionals. Dr Equizi is a sought after educator, mentor and DMP for V300 courses for various universities and also carries out one-to-one training for practitioners wishing to advance and perfect their techniques.
Dr Equizi’s training approach is versatile and therefore open to delegates with knowledge and expertise ranging from newly qualified practitioners to cosmetic plastic surgeons. All content covers a broad spectrum allowing him to tailor to the requirements – and passions – of each attendee. Training is delivered from his on site Academy at his clinic, or if required can be in the thick of it at the mentee’s clinic.
