How HydraFacial Works

HydraFacial is a facial treatment that uses a vacuum-like device to open the pores and remove dead skin cells. The six critical steps involved in HydraFacial include detox, cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection. The treatment sucks out blackheads while cleansing and exfoliating the skin and stimulating it with valuable peptides.

HydraFacial combines an advanced, patented vortex technology with botanical ingredients to deeply cleanse the skin and provide patients with essential nutrients like hyaluronic acid, copper, magnesium, zinc, and red algae extract, to name just a few. These ingredients are delivered to the locations where they perform most effectively. Pollution, sun and stress are three vital areas that can damage skin and accelerate ageing. With antioxidants, HydraFacial helps counteract the effects of these areas.

Like microdermabrasion, HydraFacial helps to rejuvenate the skin. However, the procedure is far more advanced than microdermabrasion and delivers more remarkable results. We will talk more about the differences between HydraFacial and microdermabrasion further on.

HydraFacial Treatment Protocols

HydraFacial is built on a mantra called "Skin Health for Life", and there are boosters that you can add to your treatment to maximise your results.

Skin Health for Life

The commitment to 'Skin Health for Life' means you will improve your skin and restore it to a youthful and healthy appearance. HydraFacial uses advanced technology and botanical ingredients to ensure your skin and body receive desirable nutrients that counteract the damage of pollution, sun and stress. After treatment, you will feel an immediate glow.

The six steps of HydraFacial include the following:

  1. DETOX - Increases circulation of the lymphatic system to increase blood flow. The detox process restores hydration, tones and firms the skin, and eliminates toxins.
  2. CLEANSING & EXFOLIATION - Healthy skin is revealed by exfoliating dead skin cells. A serum containing botanical extracts and lactic acid helps cleanse and nourish the skin.
  3. BRIGHTENING AGENT - A glycolic and salicylic solution helps loosens debris from the skin's pores and brightens the skin's aesthetics.
  4. EXTRACTION - One of the treatment's best benefits is that it removes blackheads and impurities with effortless extraction.
  5. HYDRATION - HydraFacial's vortex technology delivers several hydrating ingredients, including hyaluronic acid and powerful antioxidants, to replenish and hydrate the skin.
  6. REJUVENATION - An infrared LED light helps stimulate collagen, reduce redness and support vitamin D production to create glowing skin.

Express Treatment

The Express Treatment includes HydraFacial's essential benefits and can be completed in 30 minutes, offering instant results with no downtime. Your skin will feel refreshed, rejuvenated and hydrated in no time.

Anti-Ageing DermaBuilder Peptide Complex

The Anti-Ageing DermaBuilder Peptide Complex helps improve the strength of cell structures and stimulates collagen production. This booster will smooth fine lines and wrinkles and increase skin firmness and elasticity. You can expect an even skin tone and texture.

Britenol Intensive Brightening & Pigmentation Reduction

Britenol is a vitamin C antioxidant that reduces brown spots (aka liver spots caused by sun damage) or pigmented lesions (caused by ageing). The product contains Alpha Arbutin, which blocks melanin production and lightens pigmentation.

Acne & Scarring Glycolic Peel - 15% or 30%

You can use this treatment to help with acne, reducing excess oils' build-up. The product also uses natural salicylic acid and GlySal peel to improve acne scarring with deep exfoliation. Patients will see improvements from their first treatment.

Hydraplaning

A sterile blade is used to remove vellus hair, followed by the Skin Health for Life protocol detailed above, ensuring all ingredients in the product are absorbed effectively. The HydraFacial glow is then used to ensure flawless make-up application for any special occasion.

HydraFacial vs. Microdermabrasion

HydraFacial and microdermabrasion can both be excellent treatments for making your skin look more clear and more youthful than ever before. They both work to rejuvenate the skin, helping to make your skin glow and ensuring you're proud of how you look. However, there are a few differences between the two procedures.

Ultimately, HydraFacial is a more advanced form of microdermabrasion. It delivers greater results which is why we now exclusively offer HydraFacial treatment over microdermabrasion, the latter of which we previously provided to clients. HydraFacial combines several valuable techniques, such as skin hydration, skin peels and pore extractions, into the one treatment. It uses a multi-step process to do everything from cleansing and exfoliating the skin to hydrating the skin with serums and much more. You can expect immediate results after undergoing treatment.

We highly recommend HydraFacial over microdermabrasion for advanced, gentle and effective skin rejuvenation.
